Can cats eat grapes or raisins?

Caution
Unknown in cats, but they damage dogs' kidneys, so avoid them.
Avoid them. Grapes and raisins cause kidney damage in dogs. It isn't known whether they do the same in cats, so vets advise keeping them away and calling if your cat eats any.
When it's a problem
- There are a few reports of cats developing kidney problems after eating grapes or raisins.
