Yes. Antidepressants such as Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor and Cymbalta can be highly poisonous to cats, and cats seem to like the taste of some antidepressants and ADHD medicines.

Signs to watch for

  • Loss of appetite, lethargy, vomiting, tremors, seizures, high body temperature and diarrhoea.
  • Overstimulation of the heart and nervous system.
